why would you be surprised? It is after all, just a glass, similar to the windscreen? Even if it's thicker, don't think it'll survive getting hit by a hail the size of a baseball

same thing happened to my 1 week old honda... maybe honda are cursed LOL

There are bonnet damage too. I wonder if it is cheaper to build a roof for new cars?

Long story short the sunroof survived, it was just scratched up.
