why would you be surprised? It is after all, just a glass, similar to the windscreen? Even if it's thicker, don't think it'll survive getting hit by a hail the size of a baseball

same thing happened to my 1 week old honda... maybe honda are cursed LOL

Well, just after I finished school, one of the guys I went to uni with rolled his 89 prelude (which had a glass sunroof).  Long story short the sunroof survived, it was just scratched up. 

Watch out for the Mothmobile!!!
