Hi to all!!  Hope you're all fit and well and looking forward to the onslaught af Chrissy.  Yes I've escaped the heat and flies of Karratha, WA, for a week of R & R.  Arrived at Avalon late last nite and damned near died when I stepped from the plane.  13 degrees - bloody hell I've just come from 44-by-day-27-by-nite....... Sounds horrendous I know, but you do acclimatize.  The area where I'm working gets in to the 50's during the day!!!!

I thought I'd let you know the good news - I'm withdrawing my 8 from Carsales - that's right I aint selling!!!  Made the decision whilst sitting in planes and airports for many hours yesterday.  The current project I'm working on runs until April/May of next year and then there'll be more opening up after that.  If I keep at this game for a while (and it really suits my retirement plan - salary sacrificing heaps) I won't need to be carting any tools around - hence no need to replace the 8 with a hatch.  I can also look forward to driving it around when I come home on R & R and hopefully hook up with you guys again when it fits in.

Anyway I'd best be off - taking the Mini out for a run today and catching up with family - bet my little grandson has changed after 4 weeks!  Tomorrow Sue and I are off in the mighty 8 down into the Otway forest to stay for a few days.  Yes we'll be running around the GOR and those lovely forest roads.  Stop slobbering you lot..........
