2007 George Derrick Memorial Rally

Good afternoon everybody....

Just a quick email to let you know / remind you of CCRMITs 49th annual
running of the George Derrick Memorial Rally is on for the 28th July 2007.
This is the fourth round of the Victorian Rally Championship (VRC), fourth
round of the Traction Tire and Suspension Centre Victorian Club Rally
Series (VCRS) and another round of the Australian Classic Rally Series.

I have been over the route and wishing I was competing - it is another one
of those Terry Trewern / Peter Davis / Matt Douglas specials.....
Anyhow.... The Rally will be run out of the one of the little alpine
villages off Mount Baw Baw in Victoria - the township of Rawson and its
surrounding forests boasts some of the most spectacular roads.  The rally
will be a day and night event, with stage one officials to be ready to
setup their stage by 10:30am.  15 Classics Rally cars will compete first on
stage, followed by 30 VRC competitors, then 45 VCRS competitors compete the
9 competitive stages, scheduled to finish at 11:41pm.

This is a request for officials.  We still require stage commanders, road
closures, anyone willing to man a point with video camera or still shot -
there is opportunity to take some "scenic" footage.  We also have a single
spectator point requiring marshalling, used twice on the day.

If you are interested in your own spectator point or manning a point with a
group, please go to:

http://www.vicrallychampionship.com.au/

Select the Officials tab and register all your details.

Any questions please contact me on the below cell nos - happy to help.

Cheers
